What are eBay Partner Network links in Instagram DMs?
An eBay Partner Network link is an affiliate tracking URL that sends a shopper to an eBay listing, a search, or a deal page and tells eBay which partner sent them. eBay Seller Center (checked 28 October 2026) says for qualifying transactions you can earn commissions up to 4% of the item sale price. Affiliates buy ManyChat when WhatsApp is already how you send restock notes, or when a flowchart has to ask “this listing or the cheaper used copy?” then ship the matching URL. That canvas is real. It is also why first-time setup takes longer than a guided comment-to-DM form.
The cost trap is contacts, not DMs. If a haul Reel produces 2,000 new people, those people can stay on the contact meter. A flat Instagram DM bucket bills the messages. ManyChat bills the people. Do not use Chatfuel to invent a condition, a return window, or a price. The live listing is the spec. The bot should send the tracked URL and refuse to guess.
