Setup speed
ManyChat opens on a blank canvas. You add a trigger node, a message node, wire them together, set conditions, publish. It is learnable in an afternoon, and there are thousands of tutorials, but the first working automation is an hour of work rather than five minutes.
We inverted it. You choose what should start the conversation from a short list, write the message, and turn it on. There is no canvas to arrange and nothing to wire. The trade-off is real: deeply branched, many-step flows are not what we are built for.
Mobile
This is the clearest difference. ManyChat's mobile app is an inbox — you can read and reply to conversations, but building or editing an automation means a desktop browser.
Our iOS and Android apps carry the whole product. You can publish a Reel, attach a comment-to-DM automation to it and go live without touching a laptop, which matters because the window where a post is getting attention is exactly when you want to change the keyword.
Pricing model
ManyChat charges by contacts: every unique person who has ever messaged you counts, permanently. That is fine at 500 contacts and painful at 50,000, and the jump usually arrives during the week you most want to be experimenting.
